The title in passing refers to something we see passing by, whether it's a landscape seen from a moving car, a conversation or something else that our senses perceive. At first glance, this seems meaningless, but is actually a nuanced experience that affects us profoundly. Throughout the work, I work with this idea directly and indirectly, e.g. the texture of the instruments is permeated with the voices of the performers distributed in a certain way.

The piece was premiered by Caput Ensemble conducted by Rolf Gupta at Dark Music Days Festival 2024 in Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík.
